Our Work: AWS Cloud Data Center

Since our founding in 2005, we’ve run our own data centers.  In 2005 we were “lugging servers” in and our of our physical data centers.  They’re heavy beasts!

Fast forward to today, when those heavy beasts sit in the “cloud”, exactly where they should be.

Today’s data centers can be built rapidly and adapted to new requirements in a matter of hours.  Even better, most of these operations can be automated.

We’ve partnered with the original pioneer — Amazon Web Services — and built a data center in the cloud that works for us, instead of the other way around.  It’s there that we host our internal company systems such as Customer Support, Administration and Finance.  We also host ASP.NET, DNN, nopCommerce and WordPress websites for our customers.

We’ve automated nearly all aspects of the data center, so that the “hard part” is really just heeding the monitors and making occasional adjustments.
