How to Contact Microsoft 365 Support

For contacting Microsoft 365 support, admins have access to Microsoft’s 24x7 assistance via phone or email.  Here’s how to contact a Microsoft support representative:

1. Log in to your Microsoft 365 Admin Center (using your admin account).
2. Locate the “Contact support” option on the left-hand navigation panel.
3. Enter a brief but specific description of the issue you are experiencing.
4. Confirm your contact number and email address.  Make sure the information provided is accurate to avoid any delays in communication.
5. Select your preferred contact method—phone or email.
6. Once you have selected your preferred contact method, click on the “Contact me” button.

Phone Support:  If you choose the phone option, you can expect a Microsoft support representative to return your call within a few minutes.  This option is useful for urgent issues that require real-time troubleshooting.

Email Support:  Choosing email support allows you to provide detailed explanations, including screenshots of the problem, which can be useful for less urgent or complex issues.

The estimated wait time is indicated in the Contact support panel.

Contacting Microsoft 365 support directly is only available to admins of organizations subscribed to it.  If you use Microsoft 365 but are not an admin, you can still access support.  Here are a few options:

• Visit the Microsoft Support website for resources like articles and FAQs that address common issues.
• You can often find answers to similar questions or post your issues for community assistance on Microsoft Community Forums.
• Reaching out to your account’s admin can also be an option.  They can access support options on your behalf.
